The Lions Club has been serving the residents of Community for 50 years by helping people in need.
The motto of Lions Clubs is "We Serve". Our club is dedicated to helping members of our community and improving the lives of residents in Claremont. Where there is a need, there is a Lion and we are here to help.
We welcome new members to our club to work with us to share ideas and continue our work in the community. We invite volunteers who want to help out at our fundraising events throughout the year.
Join our club and make a difference in our community. Learn more.

Membership is open to men and women of legal majority and good reputation in the community.

"Uxbridge loves young people. More to the point, Uxbridge’s service clubs love young people. ...
Good news – we’re getting the opportunity to do it again! The main play structure in Elgin Park is approaching its expiry date, so to speak, and the Uxbridge Lions Club is taking on the installation of a new structure. The Community Lions Club was founded on February 28, 1968 to serve our community of City and area. The motto for Lions Clubs is “We Serve.” Keeping this in mind, a big part of our service is to help people in our community.
As part of Lions Clubs International the focus of the Community Lions Club is to raise money for worthy causes. Our projects are supported through our fundraising events such as the Christmas turkey dinner, Victorian Tea, road tolls, Christmas Bazaar, and more. Each time we do a fundraising event, these funds are given to citizens or organizations to support their activities and to help those with special needs and others less fortunate than we are.
Our club members are dedicated men and women from the Claremont community. We always welcome new members who share our enthusiasm to support and help others.
Our club thanks all our friends, neighbours, and sponsors who come out to our fundraising events. I look forward to continuing to work with our members and groups in our community to continue to serve.
